The martyr, may God have mercy on him, was distinguished by his academic excellence from his earliest school years. He was known for his refined culture, high awareness, and active participation in religious missions, even as a young boy of only a few years old.

He was arrested in early 1981 while a sixth-grade science student and subjected to the most brutal forms of torture in the Ba'athist regime's prisons. He was martyred as a result later that same year.
